One Exception
One of their longest-running media traditions involved birthdays. The family made an exception to their privacy rule once a year when the septuplets turned another year older.
On the children’s 13th birthday, for example, the Today Show’s Ann Curry visited the family. This time, each teenager had their own birthday cake, complete with 13 candles.
